The Confidential Files of Paris Henderson

There have been UFO sightings for years. The government has told us aliens aren't real, but are they? And if they are real and they did come to earth, would they be here to do what we've always feared- conquer the universe? Or might they come for another reason, say to learn about us and our customs? Would we recognize them if we saw them? Or would it be possible for them to walk among us, talk to us, and never even realize they're not even human?

Disclaimer: The story is played out in The Sims 4 and is based on the challenge The Human Experience. I do not claim aliens are real. It's a game! With that in mind, I hope you enjoy the story as we bring you further breaking news!

Name: (English) Paris Henderson, (Sixam) Kneebo Wonfourn
Location: Oasis Springs
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Personality: Genius, bookworm, loves the outdoors

Paris is a zoologist from Sixam. Her mission? To research humans in their natural habitat, observe their behaviors and dietary selections, and report her findings back to headquarters. Sixams know very little about humans, let alone how they dress. So her outfits are a bit... unusual! (The confused attire idea courtesy teadaygames on YouTube.)

Left to Right: Everyday - Sleepwear - Swimwear - Fitness - Party - Formal

On the first day, Paris' first concern was to pull together enough resources to take care of her immediate needs. Since she wasn't able to bring any thing from home, due to the covert nature of her job, she needed to pull resources from the habitat. She began exploring the neighborhood.

When she didn't find any thing around "home base", she decided to visit the park. She noticed there were some wonderful fishing holes and decided to try her hand at fishing. She was puzzled when she came up empty. She tried again and the result was the same. What was she doing wrong?

Paris noticed someone that seemed experienced and went over to stand by him. Maybe he could give her some tips. At the very least, she could observe his actions and mimic them. The thought paid off. Soon, she had caught 2 bass fish! Her celebration was only dampened by her increasing concerns about where she was going to sleep tonight.

Paris was getting hungry. She decided to make herself something to eat. She tried her hand at hot dogs. As she ate, she wafted the smell up to her nose. Umm! Human food wasn't half as bad as she had feared. It was actually pretty good once you got past the aftertaste.

She decided it was time to try communicating with the natives. She tried to push her nerves aside about their discovering her true identity. Speaking with the creatures was just another part of her research, she told herself. She sidled up to a nearby fisherman. Before she knew it, she was talking to 3 of the creatures at once.

It was quickly growing later and later. Paris still didn't have enough money to put together a camp sight. She decided she would have to sleep on a park bench. The idea made her cringe, but she needed rest before work tomorrow. So she laid down, preparing herself to face a difficult night's sleep. Tomorrow, she must find a way to set up a camp site on her home lot.

She was too exhausted to notice when a couple of the homeless native residents sat down to sleep beside her.

The next day, Paris decided to take a shower before heading off to work. She felt grungy and wanted to start her first day clean. So she headed over to the gym. She wondered what work would be like. She had applied to the local hospital. She wanted to get the "ins and outs" of humans; know them inside out. What better way then to be a doctor?

Before starting work, she greeted a couple of her coworkers and made herself a cup of coffee. The hot liquid felt good on her frayed nerves!

Paris was put on the menial tasks:  mopping floors, making beds, and making sure patients were fed. She was also supposed to research health reports online. This she found particularly interesting. She found humans had a diverse array of health problems. This was going to be more difficult then she had thought, but she was still eager to learn!

Around 10, Paris stopped for a bite to eat. She found a pastry and tried it. It was full of sugar. It was amazing the strange foods humans were willing to put in their mouths! There was sucrose in every thing.

When she had a few minutes, she made sure to speak with some of the other staff. She wanted to see how humans treated humans. If they didn't treat each other well, how would they treat her people?

By the time she got off work, she had made a couple hundred simoleans, but it was still not enough to get the campsite she needed for home base. She decided to change her strategy and started exploring the park. She couldn't help but think about how much she needed the money!

Jackpot! Paris went from having $123 (after expenses) to having $1083! She would be able to set up camp this evening! Before heading home, however, she enjoyed dinner with a nearby woman. The woman was a mess and she discovered that she was unemployed. She wondered how the woman was getting by without a job. Why wasn't she working? How was she meeting her needs? The woman was a puzzle she was only too happy to share her meal with.

It had been a long couple of days; quite an adventure full of it's share of problems, but Paris was beginning to relax. She had conquered her problems and been rewarded with a campsite for home base. It was only a matter of time before she had a home, complete with functioning toilet and shower... and walls! She curled up in her tent to read a bit of the magazine that had come with her purchase before falling into a peaceful night's slumber.
