Meet Hope. A girl who just loves country music, hamburgers, and the color violet. She's flirty, artistic, a green thumb, and a computer whiz... and a foster kid.
Hope was given up when she was a kid, long before she could remember, to the Foster Care system. And, unfortunately for her, was never adopted. She spent her life hopping around in the system between orphanages and foster care. Fed up, and wanting at least a place to call her own, Hope ran as far away as she could get on the bike she stole and what little food and money she was able to procure. By the time she stopped running, she was out of food, out of funds. What she did still have, miraculously, was her bike, clothes and a sleeping bag.
And this is where we meet Hope. Without a penny to her name, Hope finds a place to hide out in the woods, across from a camp grounds, where she hopes never to be discovered. Satisfied with "home", she takes a trip over to the scrap yard to see what she can salvage for a little money.
By the time she's finished scrapping through the junk yard, she feels grungy. She travels back home to take a shower and is amazed when she realizes just how late it has gotten. Obviously, it's been a bit longer then she had anticipated picking up some money at the scrap yard. As luck would have it, though, she's made a good $258. Who knew making money could be so simple?
Hungry, she tries her hand at fishing. However, she's unable to catch any thing, so she heads off to another park where she is sure she'll be able to harvest food to start a garden and get a small bite to eat. She'll have to do some research on fishing so she can fish near home.
